Plants and Produce
Karen is supported by Canterbury Oast Trust to learn how to grow plants and flowers in our horticultural Life Skills project.

Plants and Produce

Rare Breeds Plants & Produce is one of our Life Skills projects on the farm, and offers training opportunities to adults with learning disability.

We sell a wonderful range of flowers, plants, vegetables and fruit along with a selection of crafts. The shop is located next to the admissions area at the main entrance - why not pop along and have a look at the beautiful seasonal plants and vegetables on sale.

COT residents and students love to show our visitors what they've grown. Working in Rare Breeds Plants & Produce helps them to learn specific skills in horticulture, and also develop self-confidence through interaction with our visitors in a relaxed and supportive working environment, assisted by skilled staff and volunteers.
