Facilities & Attractions

We are always striving to improve our facilities for our visitors. Here is a checklist of the accessible facilities and attractions we currently have on site:

Tick First aid room
Tick Changing area
Tick Accessible toilets
Tick Accessible parking bays
Tick

Wheelchair access:
Main farm yard
Picnic benches
Trailer rides - one wheelchair space

Tick Accessible Play equipment

We now have an accessible trailer with space for one wheelchair giving rides to the further reaches of the farm.

Sadly our toilets and changing facility do not have hoists. Our woodland walks can be difficult to access with a wheelchair at certain times of the year.

Visitors requiring the support carer are welcome to bring one person to accompany them who will be admitted free of charge.

The Rare Breeds Centre is owned and run by Canterbury Oast Trust, a registered charity providing accommodation and training services to people with a learning disability.
