Disabled Access
Facilities & Attractions
We are always striving to improve our facilities for our visitors. Here is a checklist of the accessible facilities and attractions we currently have on site:
 |
First aid room |
 |
Changing room |
 |
Disabled toilets |
 |
Disabled parking bays |
 |
Wheelchair access:
Main farm yard
Picnic benches |
 |
Inclusive Play equipment |
- Unfortunately we do not have hoists, the woodland walks can be difficult to access with a wheelchair at certain times of the year and the Trailer Ride cannot take wheelchairs.
Visitors requiring a carer are able to bring one person to accompany them (free of charge).
The Rare Breeds Centre is owned and run by a charity, Canterbury Oast Trust. We support adults with learning disability to take control of their lives, by providing training, homes and work experience. Many residents and students work and live on-site at the Rare Breeds Centre and your visit helps us to continue our work.
Should you have any questions about accessibility, please call us on 01233 861493.
