As part of our lineup of fun activities (at no additional cost) for this year's Halloween celebrations, we're bringing back the Scarecrow Showdown Competition! All entries will be on display at the farm for visitors to enjoy and vote for!

So, put your creative skills to the test and bring your scarecrow creations to the farm to enter!

This year we have prizes for the top three scarecrows!

1^st place - Tickets for our Christmas Event for 2 adults and 2 children.

2^nd place - Free Family Day Ticket.

3^rd place - A £25 Gift Shop voucher.

*Alternative prizes are avaliable for those part of COT*

• Scarecrows can be entered into the competition at the Rare Breeds Centre from Saturday 26th to Thursday 31st October, 2024.
• The competition is open to EVERYONE – including our farm visitors, annual members, volunteers, supported people and staff.
• Bring your scarecrow to our gift shop to get checked in.
• THREE winner's will be announced on social media and our website on Sunday 3rd November.

VOTING

• Voting at the farm will take place every day from Friday 1st November till Sunday 3rd November.
• Voting online will take place on our Facebook page an Instagram page:
• Facebook and Instagram voting will take place every day from 12pm Friday 1st November till Sunday 3rd November.
• Only one online vote will be counted per person per social media platform. 
• Voting is allowed on our social media by anyone, even those who have already voted in person on the farm.
• People can also vote for their own scarecrow when they enter it into the competition.
• Entrants can encourage their friends and family to vote for them online and at the farm.
