Volunteering opportunities

We have some wonderful volunteers who do valuable work across The Rare Breeds Centre and throughout Canterbury Oast Trust - but often we need more help.

Do you have any time to spare? If you would like to be part of our amazing charity we’d love to talk to you about ways you could get involved by volunteering with us. We help with some travelling expenses and provide any training you may need. It's a great chance to expand your own experience and abilities, and to make some great friends too. A cheerful, patient and friendly personality along with energy and enthusiasm is all we ask for!

For an informal chat please call the volunteer coordinator on 01233 861493 or email: [email protected]

Please be advised you must be over 18 to volunteer with us.

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES FOR CORPORATE GROUPS

Sometimes it's good to get out of the office!

"I really enjoyed the opportunity to give some of my time to such a good cause…I found it quite inspirational the way COT supports adults with learning disability to live independently and take control of their lives.” DWP employee, volunteering on our Horticulture Project

Canterbury Oast Trust is very fortunate to have many organisations come and volunteer with us as a team; taking the opportunity to spend time together out of the office environment and supporting our work at the same time.

We’ve always got lots to do on the farm and it’s amazing the difference a team of people can make in a day.

If you would like to spend the day helping our charity, we would love to hear from you!

Your help means such a lot

“We really appreciate the time given, and the hard work that volunteers bring to the much needed tasks that we are unable do. It makes such a big difference to us”. Canterbury Oast Trust Home Manager.
