Daredevil Dan does something amazing & raises £500

When Dan Gilbert heard that we needed to raise money for some work on one of our homes he wanted to help. Being the adventurous sort, he decided to ask people to sponsor him to do a 100 ft zip wire challenge while on holiday at Centre Parcs.

Dan is a wheelchair user but he didn't let that get in the way of him having a go.

He managed to talk his friend Jen into joining him and, together, they raised a magnificent £500 for our charity.

Dan said: "I really enjoyed it. Thank you to everyone who sponsored me. I would like to do something else and help Rainbow Gallery because they need money for art materials."
