2007 was sadly the last year of the Bilsington Craft Fair but, we are delighted to announce that with the help and support of the committee, this craft fair will transfer across to the Rare Breeds Centre.

The other good news is that the show will now be over two days ­ the 28th and 29th of June 2008.

The Rare Breeds Centre offers plenty of free parking for up to 1,000 cars and a friendly and professional management team with many years of event experience

The Centre has a large, well serviced, event field with toilet facilities, and the Catering Cabin for snacks and refreshments close by

A considerable publicity budget will cover leaflet distribution of 200,000, word of mouth promotion to over 100,000 visitors, together with substantial local PR, online and media advertising. This, together with all the attractions of the Rare Breeds Centre itself, Falconry displays, pig racing and animal encounter sessions, should guarantee high visitor numbers.

Over the two days of next years show, income from stallholders will subsidise a reduction in normal RBC admissions and this again will ensure high levels of visitors and customers for your products.

All income from this event will go to help fund the work of Canterbury Oast Trust who, as well as owning the Rare Breeds Centre, provide a home, 24-hour care, a programme of personal development, work training and work experience for 91 adults with a learning or physical disability.
