Species: African Giant Millipede

Maximillian

African  giant  millipedes  have  rounded  heads  and  two  legs  per segment  of  their  body  which  can  grow  from  11  to  over  one  hundred segments. They feed on decomposing vegetation and organic matter in the soil. When  threatened  the  millipede  will  curl  up  into  a  tight  coil  to  protect its  legs  with  its  hard  exoskeleton.  They can also emit a poisonous liquid from microscopic odoriferous glands.
