Actors Needed To Help Bring Horror Alive

Actors are needed to bring alive some scary surprises for visitors to this year’s Halloween Fright Nights at the Rare Breeds Centre in Woodchurch, near Ashford.

Actors aged 16 and over will be employed to portray ghouls, ghosts, and demons to surprise the unwary at the centre on October 26, 27, 29, 30, and 31 from 6.30pm to 10pm.

Nikki Sara, events and marketing manager, said: “Halloween Fright Nights, which are suitable for ages 12 and over, are responsible for a huge adrenalin rush, largely thanks to the brilliant actors really entering into the spirit of things.

“We are looking to employ people who are willing to get into character for a few hours on one or all of the five nights. They will also need to be available for a dress rehearsal on Thursday, October 25. They will have a great time!”

A YouTube video – found by searching ‘Halloween 2012 Rare Breeds Centre’ – gives an idea of what visitors can expect and what actors are required to do!

The Rare Breeds Centre is one of the South East’s leading family attractions and is owned and run by Canterbury Oast Trust, a charity which provides opportunities for adults with learning difficulties.

Anyone interested in taking part in Fright Nights can contact Nikki Sara on 01233 861508 or email nikki@rarebreeds.org.uk.
